It's that time of year again.  Resolutions.  Re-boots.  Clean Eating Protocols.  Detox Programs.  You know the drill.  With over 4 decades of being female and

2 decades of being a nutrition expert

I know the drill. 

 

Find the plan

Buy the food or ingredients necessary to make it happen.  Count down the days until you're done. 

Splurge on a favorite treat because you made it and survived!

Today,  we're going to begin the conversation on how to crush those cravings, satisfy your taste buds and stay on track not just for a season on deprivation but for a lifetime of success.

Hungry No More:  Reflect

 

Did you know that daily reflection of hunger, fullness, level of satisfaction from food and meals is an important part of the hungry no more process? 

We cannot change what we do not know.

Have you ever kept a food and lifestyle journal before?

 

Keeping a food diary can double a person's weight loss according to a study from Kaiser Permanente's 

 

Center for Health Research. The findings, from one of the largest and longest running weight loss maintenance trials ever conducted, published in the August issue of the American Journal of Preventive Medicine.

 

Hungry for Health offers food and lifestyle tools with their nutrition programs which will help you begin to identify personal trends or challenges that may be holding you back from crushing those cravings.

Reflect on your current commitment level

If your current personal commitment level is at least a 7 on a scale of 1-10 then let's connect!

 

 

 

Anything less than a 7 and it possibly may not the right time.  This is okay.  There's no right or wrong place to be.  It's simply a personal assessment of today.  Timing is very important in the process of learning to satisfy your taste buds; if you are not ready at this time then your level of success may be less than what you'd like it to be.  Reflect daily and wait.  Pray.  Ask for direction.  

 

When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.

 

 

 

Hungry No More:  Action

 

Once you've begun the habit of reflecting upon your current lifestyle, asking yourself are you satisfied with your current situation and found that the answer is "No".

 

Then it is time to take action!

 

Run, don't walk.  Pick up the phone.
