One of the reasons why we choose to make summer travel a foundation for our family is it challenges each of us to grow and step out of our comfort zone.

Growth happens when we allow ourselves to be vulnerable. Standing 2200 feet above sea level on a rock hanging over a cliff requires being vulnerable. Committing to making a significant lifestyle change to better our health also requires being vulnerable.

Humility steps in when your heart races knowing that you're almost there but not sure if you're going to make it all the way to the top. Humility in our health journey requires us to admit that the choices we've made in the past may not get us where we want to go and admitting we need a team of support to get to that next step.

Trusting in the master plan requires belief in the ultimate outcome that was set in place long before the journey began. There is no right or wrong way to get to the destination. The ultimate goal is to live out your best life, embracing and enjoying the journey each step of the way!
